The point of this question is to get you thinking who really runs our country.
Money, power and control is what moves our country forward. Nowhere in that equation does freedom and our rights fit in. In fact Power and freedom are antonyms.
With an increasingly conditioned society we are getting more and more complacent. We are being controlled by fear and pessimism.

You must get endorsed by major corporations and big business if you are going to move closer to representing the corporate government of America.

Without that support you can't properly make use of the media propaganda machine and the polls. Without that big money how are you going to get support and more money?

So we are left with a choice between like minded people. Who's agendas are not that of the American public. Of course there is a standard that must be kept up to keep enough morale from starting a civil unrest. Other than that no real need to address the public is necessary. In fact more time and money is spent encouraging bickering and separation than there is in trying to improve our living.
