When you turned 24, did you think "Oh my gosh. Next year, I'm going to be half of 50!!!!!!!!" ?????
It has just dawned on me.
Oh well, I'm still going to have a fantastic birthday today :D

Nope...I was still living large! I don't think I had my "Mid-Life Crisis" until I hit my early to middle 30's,which kind of makes sense! Reason? I suspect for the same reason that Women experience it...in their 40's. They generally live longer than us Guy's,but come to realise that life is not an ever lasting party! You have to start thinking about things like Retirement and Security in Old Age...not to mention things like Failing Health,Loss of Ambition or Drive and worrying about the Future Prospect's for your Children.etc So enjoy your early life while you can,because after 30 or 40...it just seems to shoot right on by you! And do have a Happy Birthday...with lots of love and sunshine! Party,Party,Party!

happy birthday!
i turned 24 last week, i didnt think that i was almost halfway to 50, but i did think that i dont feel 24.
but then you see 18 year olds, and realise how much you have changed.
i decided that 46 is the first age to be old (sorry to everyone over 46)

Yes as a matter of fact I did think that. And you know what, it's ok, cause now that I'm fifty I thought " Oh my gosh, I'm half a hundred." So see, you have something to look forward to. Hope you have a really great birthday little one.

No (at least not that I remember), but I did celebrate turning 33 1/3 - one-third of the way to 100!
Not sure why, but then again once you get past those ages, the word 'why' doesn't seem to matter much!

No but when I turned 25 I kinda freaked out because I realized 1/3 of my life was over (based on average life span).
