is it worth it to pay a little extra for the 8800gts? i haven't read many good reviews on the 8600 and i can't seem to find any good 8800 ones. in your opinion, what's a good vid card thats directx 10.0 compatible? i play world of warcraft and i'm also going to start playing lotr online & starcraft 2 so i want a good card. thanks guys!

8600GTS and 8800GTS are fast (and pricey) but best bang for the buck is 8600GT (especially for enthusiasts, tweakers and overclockers). Its performance is in between a 7600GT and a 7900GS. BUT it also has awesome overclocking headroom.

Well if you are playing those video games, you wouldn't need a video card that extensive. But in my opinion you should get a 8600 GTS. They are faster, and more data gets sent thru at a faster speed rate.

GeForce 8800 Ultra is the best. With the 768MB of video memory, you could have the best video setting in your games without worrying of your computer slowing down.
