people are collecting info alright
not just in P&S but all of Answers
but not for the reasons you mention
this is a giant info machine for market research ,the feebi,and the seeya ,and probably the church as well
during the course of a years people let go of an imense amount of details ,what they drink ,eat ,wear ,love .hate ,have ,want to have ,their politics ,what they know or dont know you name it .
large computors have no problem to analise all that in secconds and build up detalied profiles
linked to the information Banks have (same owners in the end as Yahoo)they also know your money and where you are so they dont need to find you ,they already know.

if they try to find all the info on me that they can they'll just get really confused, and know way more than they want to about one person, things in my life would scare them, so i dont think they'll want to find me, but if they ever do, i'll have alot of explaining to do....
