Is there an Inuyasha fan out there that can tell me if there is a possibility that there are more than 167 episodes of the anime version.....and also i know that the manga is still around...what volume is the 167th episode from the manga version?

No, there are no plans to continue the anime. The anime ended with 167 episodes, and the manga goes on and on. The anime ends around Volume 23

There are only 167 episodes in the Inuyasha series. The series continues in the manga: 51 volumes (507 chapters currently)

there are no more than 167 eps which really makes me mad but i guess it always happens with most animes just stopping when the series just got exciting oh and also the ep 167 is in volume 36

The reason it got canceled it was because the anime caught up with the manga. Instead of putting a filler arc when they already started the new one, they opted to end it.
