Do you think that art influences culture, or culture influences art, to a great extent? Which forms of art do you think most influence/reflect culture?

Culture influences art. I'm not sure how you could make a valid argument for the prior... since you base art off of something, somewhere, anywhere.

The culture is the existing relation between all the habits and the form of life of any community in a certain moment, where the art is included:So it is clear that the culture influences art and not reverse.
Then, we can say: Any forms of art could be most influence/reflect culture:The only influence that we can recognize it is that of developed cultures that intentionally they try to influence the least developed cultures for political motives

Very nice question :

I feel that culture influences the art to a great exten. Because culture is somewhat more related to attitudes, habits, traditions, thinking way, superstitions etc which are directly related to mind.

Art is a type of skill which is emerging from mind and practice . So i feel that culture influences the art to a great extent.

I think paintings and dance mostly reflects culture.
