You are asking a question that every single human culture has tried to answer one way or another. Every religion and most philosophers have had a go at it, and arguably all of them are right and wrong.

So far the most likely answer is an explosion about 15 billion years ago, that created what we call our "universe"; we call that explosion the "Big Bang". Nevertheless, we don't know what was there before or even exactly how that worked.

There are two ways to approach this question: through faith and believing that someone (God) created it or through research and understanding that the more you learn the less you know; this way will be harder but probably will be closer to the real answer than through faith.

You and I won't know the truth during our lifetime; we can only choose what to believe.

And for your last question: God seems to have been made by humans. Is the "easy" answer for the things we can't explain. But again, this is never an easy question.

Your question cannot be answered by opinion. It's a answer you must discover through faith, and your own feelings.

However, I personally think, it was created for a reason, so there for it suits me to know I not need know that everyone wants to know about the knowing of this knowledge that isn't known.

Don't you hate it when you don't understand something; get use to it buddy it's life, and no ones going to learn this stuff until it's time. No one will have the true answer until certain proof is presented. Here's the sad part, that time may never come.

Seeing is not Believing, Believing is seeing what you want to believe.

Love the question, well science belives the universe was created at a point in the past called a singularity. Also at the point time as we know it was created, the science of what has happened subsequent to this beguining ......well we are aware of (most of it) prior to the singularity well ....no one knows or is likely to. As for god , well man created god, and sadly many still believe in this.........as for me well i am a devout atheist.

'People say' lots of things. And most of the things they say are incorrect. 'What caused the Universe to form the way it is?' is probably the deepest scientific and philosophical question that's ever been asked. And nobody knows the answer.
