First of all, I have not seen a verse in the Hebrew bible that prohibits abortion, especially not under every posible condition.
And furthermore, the Israeli legal system is not based on the bible.
So I fear your question has just evaporated.
Hope that helps.

some denominations have self belief that most of the books that is in different denominations Bibles weren't divinely stimulated so whilst they compiled the books at the same time they have been given rid of the books they felt that way approximately. Getting church homes to agree on a unified Bible could be like commencing a clean holy conflict. i'm effective there are places on the internet the place you should purchase those varies variations of the Bible yet I even have not carried out the seek myself. some human beings also have most of the books attainable online for examining for unfastened. basically attempt searching for Bibles or the particular Bible you're in seek of and that i'm effective you will locate one.

Old Testament law
The Old Testament provides most of the information on God's view of life before birth, since it gives us the law. The law specifically addresses the issue of taking the life of a fetus in the book of Exodus:
"And if men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him; and he shall pay as the judges decide. But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life." (Exodus 21:22-23)
Therefore, the law tells us that a man who induces an abortion or miscarriage is to be punished, indicating that God values life before birth.
A verse from Hosea3 says that abortion is a punishment for sin, indicating God views it as bad. Likewise, God expressed His disgust for the Ammonites, who "ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead".

Is Abortion in the Bible, don't think so, but murder is . That is why they spend so much time, argument and expense on determining when is the beginning of life. The issue is murder by abortion.
FYI now you should know better to believe everything you read on-line. For every site that advocates something there's a site to condemn it and then there's Yahoo answers! Having fun yet?

Maybe because the bible doesn't mention abortion....
Leviticus 17:11: “Life is in the blood.” When blood enters the embryo on the 18th day after conception and the heart begins to beat, it becomes alive

I'm not entirely convinced Isreal allows abortion, but if they do so what? Does that some how negate the fact that sucking the brain out of a innocent, unborn living fetus is a horrible act?
If Al Gore starts raping kittens, is that justification to do the same? Whats your point halfwit?

In my opinion....people have become so selfish...so uncaring for the human life....they put their career and social lives first before their religious beliefs....they might claim to be Christian or Jewish but they don't live by the laws of the church or temple...or holy books...they live according to their own needs and wants..just think of all the babies killed this way....one could have found the cause of cancer...if allowed to grow up and be educated....or become a peacemaker in this troubled world...it really makes me sick to see abortion done to women by their own choice....each day as if it's like going to have a tooth pulled....nothing else than some blood and tissue...that is all they feel it is.....I would hate to meet my maker if I had had this abortion earlier in my life. I'm thankful I was blessed with two children and loved and cared for them ....all life should be treated like a diamond, a precious jewel...thanks for your question...it was a good one for thinking of my inner thoughts on the subject.....

The Old Testament is over 2000 years old. Times change. Are you going to condemn them for it? The Bible also says not to judge others so as to avoid said judgement on yourself.

Actually, I have never seen a single word in the Bible about abortion, probably because they were so rare when the Bible was written.
So that when neo-cons say their source are biblical, this means they have to have interpreted some passage, such as "Thou shall not kill" as pertaining to abortion.

It doesnt state teh reason they applied to be allowed to have one. I would imagine it would be wrong to force a woman to have a baby if the pregnancy was causing medical complications in which she might die trying to have the baby.
