First of all,I'm not against the Americans as a whole. I'm against the US government and their army. When will they leave Iraq? It's been too long since they have occupied Iraq! They abuse Iraqis on their own land. They keep on complaining and broadcasting worldwide how lots of American soldiers get killed in Iraq.If so, why don't they just leave Iraq?Their wasting the lives of their soldiers and great amounts of money in Iraq for what? The truth is Iraqis have greater death toll rates since the foreign troops came in! Is it because they want Iraq for it's oil?Is it because they want a permanent base in the middle east to have access on other near countries?
Saddam is already dead. Pres. Bush has no "bad" leader to further fight with in Iraq. They already brought him down. Next, there were NO proofs of nuclear weapons found in Iraq! Lying was their main ways to get into Iraq. In fact, US is one of the countries that has the most number of nuclear weapons! This is plain hypocricy.

The US government talks about giving freedom to Iraq... How can this happen if foreign armies are holding Iraq as if it were their own colony/country? If they have really GOOD INTENTIONS to give freedom and help, they should let the Iraqis have their land. They should just support Iraq government such as giving funds to rebuild Iraq, give support on medical help for Iraqis, give support on education, give support on helping the thousands of displaced people and so on. On the other hand, the support they give is weapons, soldiers, bombs, army tanks, etc. which only kills! Remember, US government was the first to attack Iraq. THEY went to Iraq. Iraq is not the one who went to America and started to battle and propagate war. Aren’t they the bad guys now?

Well, no. Your position supposes that the situation is akin to your own, and it is not. US nation-building has a long history, and others tend to try to frame it as if it were the same as the activities of other nations, but it never has been. Our track record is somewhat mixed, but we've always gone in, spent a good deal of time, money and blood, and left when we felt we should. We've held onto Puerto Rico and Guam, and though there are some in those places who would like it otherwise, the majority wish to keep it that way. On the other hand, we've turned over the Philippines, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, etc., etc., just as we said we would, and we're somewhat proud of our rebuilding of western Europe after World War II. The precedent is such that there's little reason to question our motives. At the same time, it is the legitimately elected Iraqi government that is most anxious to keep American troops there for the time being, and if you've kept up with the news at all, you'll notice that many of the Sunnis who opted out of the elections are now fighting with us against al Qaeda, and the majority Shi'a are generally supportive to various degrees in the fight against the Shi'a Mahdists. You are correct that there is no one unifying leader against whom to fight, and this serves only to prove that you haven't yet grasped that this is fourth-generation war, and you're using second-generation warfare yardsticks to measure its success. How disappointed are you to see nobody hit a home run when you go to a football game? If you grasp that home runs are in baseball and football has touchdowns, you'll find your analysis more rewarding.

Being a troop that served in Iraq I can tell you I have no idea what were doing out there. When I first arrived in that hell hole I thought I was doing good for the nation. After my tour there and seeing what I have seen and thinking long and hard about why things are the way they are out there, I came to the conclusion that nobody really knows what were doing out there anymore and we dug a hole for ourselves so deep it would seem absurd to get out of it now. Just think about this for a moment and Im sure these points have been made thousands of times, or more, but I want to keep everyone grounded to reality.....
In WW2 we were fighting the Germans and the Japanese, and while those places are relatively calm right now, we have plenty of military installations in both of those countries. I think were trying to establish military prescence in southwest asia (namely in the north i.e. iraq) since we also have bases in turkey. I constantly ask myself, why should we give a damn about Iraq? Many people have theories from
A. The current president is trying to finish what his daddy started.
B. Oil
C. Weapons of mass destruction
D. any other idea the government can use to keep the public guessing for a while.
We're in it for the long haul and its costing Americans lives, and breaking families apart, and nobody cares about it. for the almost 3500 American soldiers that perished, also comes 3500 Life Insurance policies the government has to pay (if you dont decline it, they automatically give you 400000$) and I hate to sound cynical but thats a lot of money to hand out. With the majority of our forces in southwest asia, its also keeping our state side bases very low manned, with barely enough people to do our jobs. Minimum manning, working 14 hours a day, limited resources... it all adds up to a cluster..
Basically what Im trying to put across here is that America and coalition forces will be in Iraq and Afghanistan and this whole region far after Im gone and its unfortunate many families will have to suffer because of... well whatever reason were here.

I just wish the war on Iraq stop...I wish Iraq had peace again. Iraq and it's people were attacked and is still being attacked and battered by forein troops who are liars. They act as if their the 'HEROES' when they themselves have bad intentions on Iraq. Yes, they do help Iraq... They help worsen it's condition and help increase the killing.
--And, sectarian conflicts?!??! That only became popular since those foreign troops came in and stressed the differences of Muslims. Sunnis and Shias have very MINOR DIFFERENCEs and this shouldn't be a MAJOR PROBLEM because their both Muslims. So I guess the new lie being started is that they won't withdraw from Iraq because of the sectarian violence?!?! LOL. A lot Muslims, themselves, don't make the differences of Sunni and Shia a big deal, so why should foreign troops like US army even bother?
sad but true... :(

This is totally true. I'm proud of people like you who aren't BRAINWASHED by the Bush administration and false media in support of the American government. I hope more people open their minds and see what's really happening. In fact, sectarian violence and the diversion of Sunni and Shia only became a such BIG DEAL when American troops statred to occupy Iraq and of course, BAD MEDIA attention and news. Can't the people see that they are using the DIVIDE AND CONQUER ploy?! The US govt. and its allies keep on saying the Muslim extremists are the only terrorist terrorizing them. The should look at the mirror and see the reflections of terrorists too in themselves.
I pray for peace not only in Iraq but too all countries being oppressed by foreign bullies.

You can't blame it all on US troops there. It is combination of US troop presence, secretarian conflicts, regional conflicts, criminals in the region and more. The US foreign policy is part of the problem, but you're mistaken if you think that's all there is to it. There's lot more to it than that.
We got this situation where we could just leave, but Sunni, Shiite militias aren't going to stop just because we leave. We need to stay to provide security from secretarian militias but we're also the target of attacks.
Saddest thing is nobody seem to trying to figure out real solution. Everybody either want us out or just stay and do same thing over and over. Nobody tried to solve the problem.
Yes it can be such a noble thing to call for peace and withdrawal, but that's not going to solve secretarian conflicts, that's going to solve Iraq problem.
We had some 4 long years to think about some real solutions but everybody was busy making their 'base' happy. By either calling for withdrawal or calling for 'stay the course.' Neither is solution to this problem. Both are just election slogans. Nothing more.
This is like your house catches on fire and you and your siblings argue whether to use garden hose to put it out or just call 911. While you guys argue the house burns to the ground.
Everybody in the US argued all these years without trying to SOLVE the problem. While our troops were dropping like flies in Iraq.

Hey, I suppose that the US Soldiers are getting a dose of their own medicine given how their grandfathers killed or took prisoner many SS Soldiers who fought in France and Germany while leaders like Cheney and Hitler hide in their underground bunkers waiting to eat a bullet when they have been "betrayed" for the greater good. Just as many of Hitler's advisers made their way to the US to mentor Cheney, these "men of renown" will travel to the next world Superpower to provide "advice and consultation."

Finally some one who thinks rationally! No, i don't think the army is terrorist, coz they just follow order. but it's the people behind them, the master of the puppets. US wants to stay in middle east and control their oil. that's the reason for Iraq war. this war has been planned from 1990s. they created Saddam to go and catch him in Iraq and screw up so bad in Iraq that they don't have to come back. remember, Saddam got his WMD from US(back in the days when he had them). and of course, the big boss style-"only i can have neuclear weapon not any other country".
it makes me sick to my stomach.
