If he's abusive, move and leave no forwarding address. You're better off without him. If you have kids, get an order for child support, but otherwise file for divorce. Consult a group that helps abused wives for help, don't ask him for money.

Honey, I'd ask anyone else but him for a short term loan. Friends, family whatever. Dont' suck up to him.
Besides, he'd likely use the money as an excuse to get back in, and if you really mean he's out, then you dont want that.
and if he's the kind of man you needed to put out... he's likely spent the money on beer and strippers, used it to get his own place. He'd probably rather flush the money down the toilet than give it to you at this point.

Lesson 1: before you kick the fool out, make sure the rent is paid or that you have a nest egg built up. Slip a little out of the food money or gas money or wheatever allowance he gives you.

you done the right thing in kicking him out, there is all kinds of gov. help out there or churches out there that will help you so you can get a chance to get straighten up and be sure to take him to court to get all you can out of him.

Contact your local social services, they may be able to help. Also call the local womens shelter...they may have some good advice.
What ever you do, don't take him back, it may seem hard now, but it will get better.
