i actually think Mondays are okay.

for me Mondays are a symbol of new beginning, the start of new week, new opportunities

I guess because Monday signifies the end of the weekend, and you have to forget about all the fun you had, and about sleeping in, and get back to dealing with the monotony of everyday life. Mondays bother some people, but not others, depending upon their personality. Some people see the weekends as a break in their routine, and can't wait to get back to work, where their routine feels normal. Others get depressed and don't want to deal with the beginning of yet another week.

Because if you work Monday-Friday, & you have the weekend off, you try to spend the weekend having fun, and Monday happens to be the day that you don't get to do fun things anymore, and have to go back to work, which people don't usually like near as much as the fun stuff they do on the weekends... I don't like Mondays because my husband goes back to work, and it's just my daughter and I not being as silly as we are when Daddy's home...

It has to do with work. Most people don't really like working. The weekends are important to them so they can do what they want to relax and enjoy their families and not even think about work. Then the next thing you know it's Monday and back to work and start looking forward to the next weekend.

It depends on the kind of work schedule you have-(my days off are monday & tuesday, so mondays are like my saturdays.)

I have no problem with them its just that every now and then I say I hate work and I want a long weekend.

just as we're about to actually rest, BOOM! monday comes along and we have to work =(
