I owe a lot to my friends and they are graduating next year leaving me behind cause I am a year younger, but I want to do something extra amazing for them. Something that shows how much they mean to me. I was thinking of doing a scrapbook for each of them but I havent been friends with them long and being able to put those together with the limited pictures I have would be a bit cheesy dont you think? I want to hand make it, no buying from the store (other then the raw materials).
I need help! ideas, comments, whatever i will take them. I am starting a year ahead so nothing is too complex I dont think, so i will take anything!
Even tell me what you would have loved to recieve from your best friend!
THANKS SO MUCH!

Go to Starbucks and get 3 of their photo mugs. You can make copies of the pics and put them in the mugs. You can also insert a little saying, poem, or a letter to them.

If you are starting a year early then you have plenty of time to get to know them better and get your gifts together. You could start by getting a digital camera and taking pics at sleepovers or anywhere fun you all are together. At the end of the year you could make a slide show on a cd. Another idea would be to make a time capsule and dedicate it to your friendship. Take articles & pics from each of you & put it in a container. Then have a ceremony and choose a time (say 10 or 20 years) to open it again. Have fun & good luck to you.

I'm a guy but i love to make gifts and gift bags for people that are special to me. I'd go with a gift bag putting in things that you know they like. it can be the smallest things ( it may seem not so significant but people really do like when people remember the little things about them) If you really know the people well add whatever they may like it can be a favorite candy bar, or something of their favorite colors or anything. .. 1 time i put a jar of Fluff in some1's bag and they love it. Even if you choose to do something else i think this will be a great side gift

Something with photos is always good, and if you haven't known them long enough to make scrapbooks, you can always just make a mini-photo album for each of them with whatever pictures you do have. Or even if you only have a few, how about mounting them in a handmade frame or make big keychains out of them? You can make frames out of anything - something to remind you of school or each other, like pencils or pens or McDonalds straws or something like that?

Get a scrabble set for each of them and link words together that is something personal for your relationship with each of them. Put their names and things that you did together, or just words that remind you of them. When it's just right, glue down the letters and then put picture wire on the back to hang them up! Easy.
