I agree.
I think that just because your gay/bi doesn't mean you will go to Hell. I think that if you continuously indulge in homosexual practices then you might though. By indulge I mean dating same sex, intercourse with same sex, and stuff like that. It'd probably be rare, but as long as you don't purposely indulge without asking forgiveness then maybe you do. I assume that you could like the same sex, but as long as you never acted on that instinct of attraction then you're okay. You can always ask for forgiveness anyways though.

I believe you sin when you fail to Love. So to know wether or not you are sinning you have to know what Love is. If you go on what the Media portray Love as you wont have any problem at all, but if you measure Love by what God asks you will need to be Very Knowledgeable and Wise in the ways of Love to avoid Sin.
Love is creation and one of the Reasons homosexuality is considered a sin by God is that in a homosexual Relationship God is excluded from the act of Love because another human body ( from us ) and Soul ( from God ) cannot be created. When God took a rib from Adam to Create Eve, it was message that a man without a woman is not complete and woman without a man is not complete, When a husband and wife come togethere in sexual union and create children they will have the best possible chance of learning the lessons of Love that God needs for us to learn to grow spritually. There is so much more to it than just this, but this is not a good forum to discuss the theology of the Human Body.
And in anwser to the First part of your question, Yes you can still believe in God and be homosexual, and you can even go to heaven if you are homosexual. Everyone can but few will. The "Reason" only a few will choose to go, When you die, everything you are will be exposed by a Perfect light that will shine through you. You will see yourself measured against perfection. Most will choose hide in the shadows and pain of Hell because of the shame, and those that have been forgiven or choose to be forgiven will go to the light.

Yes you can believe in God and be gay. Come on, people lie everyday, judge others, hate others, commit adultery, divorce, steal, cheat, swear, use violence, on and on I could go. Yet, I guarantee if any of the above said they were Christian you would take it at face value. OK, a person commits sin after sin after sin (and these ones are obviously spoken against in the bible), but it's fine all you have to do is go to church and throw in an extra our father, but I fall in love with another woman (remember, what I do is out of love), and you would doubt my belief in God. That's a load of crap. I don't think it's a sin to be gay, not at all. I am so sick of people asking this question. Honestly, have you ever asked a person who lies if it's still possible for them to believe in God? Or a person who steals from others? A person who commits adultery? Any of the above? I am annoyed. You know what bothers me? I have always been so respectful of others beliefs, and religion, etc. Always, my whole life I have. I have my own, other people have theirs and I leave it at that. Lately, due to so many supposedly religious people spewing their hate over something so ridiculous as homosexuality (honestly, who is it hurting?), all the while committing a multitude of honest, no doubt about it SINS, I have so much anger towards organized religion, and I don't like that because it's not me. I love how something based in love can spread so much hate and anger and hurt in the name of God. I bet he's disappointed. By they way, your question was perfectly respectful (albeit annoying), and I'm not saying you yourself are spreading hate. I am just so sick of this contradictory, hypocritical movement against homosexuality when divorce is legal, and adultery, etc (all the while saying homosexuality will destroy the sanctity of marriage, because it is such a sacred thing in this day and age). I can't stand the double standards anymore I guess you caught me a bad time : ) Sorry for my giant ramble here.

Of course a person can believe in God and still be homosexual. Being homosexual is not a sin.
But if you read your Bible correctly it is not the condition, being homosexual that is the sin. It is according to the Bible, the act that is the sin.
So a celibate, homosexual, is not guilty of any sin.
Chew on that one for a while.

I think that "being homosexual" is a question of condition. Don't you?
The conditiohn of sin causes people to do all sorts of things, and be born all sorts of ways. It is not merely activity ( and this is Biblical!) but is a condition. Yes people act on what it is that causes them to sin, but there is another thing to look at; the cause!
So we can look at this analytically, and say that these people who are homosexual; if they were to stop acting on their impulses, would they then be sinless? I don't think so. It didn't make me sinless.
What God wants us to be is trusting of Him. That's what it's all been about from the beginning. And that's what He wants from us now. So we know, if we know the Bible, that there hasn't been anyone who could be perfect. And God being so wose knows that we cannot. So it wouldn't be logcal or possible for us to think that we could be perfect for Him, yet we can be trusting of Him. That's what this Bisexual Christian believes!
Yes, I think that it is sinning to comit a homosexual act. But not being homosexual does not make us sinless!

This has nothing to do with religion. ....(I know it states clearly that god made man and woman and nowhere does it mention about homosexuals). However it has been proven scientifically, the reason for homo behaviour and preference. Now you tell me isn't this too god given, so what does that have anything to do with religion. To each is own and how he choose to live his life. Most uneducated and unknowned will treat homosexuals as the scum of the earth///

It would not substitute understanding that we human beings are wicked persons and are certainly bent to do what's incorrect. All are sinners, there no longer one only, no no longer one. That being pronounced, I do the best i will to handle all of us the two. yet whilst it includes condoning- ie passing rules that encourages this behaviour, i ought to persist with my God and how He feels approximately it. that's reported in Romans a million, that each and each physique adult males know that God is actual. The data is all around us. besides the shown fact that, there are some who deny the existence of God and that's their option to realize this, no longer the desire of God. God tolerates issues for awhile, yet then, being only, He ought to punish. via conserving their backs became from God and doing what they pick, God acquiesces and enables people who've became to do what they pick to contain adult males laying with men and ladies with females. only because of the fact He supplies them their wish maximum easily does no longer recommend that He condones such acts. they're incorrect. that's a perversion from what He meant. i admire homosexuals, I abhor their sin, yet i won't be able to supply something that transgresses the guidelines of my God. that contains something that announces marriage. Marriage, as instituted via God, is between guy and lady.

no (to the second question). which is more sinful? being unfaithful to ur spouse or being loyal to ur gay partner?
we're accepting things bcoz there is no right or wrong.
sin or no sin, this is what the society says.
what did the society say about gay in the 60's? it's a mental disorder... now? gay ppl are getting more say in the society.

A person can believe in God, but that doesn't mean that they have to follow a book written by men... I am not mocking the Bible, I'm just concerned about the contradictions Christianity teaches. Christianity teaches about a loving God, but if you're gay, he hates you... I believe in a loving God that cares about HOW you love more than WHO you love...
