The best product for a crack this size is a polyurethane concrete patching compound, second choice would be butyl concrete patch. Both are available at most home centers or hardware stores. Comes in a caulking gun tube.

there are a number of concrete path and crack repair products. Ask at a hardware store or any of the home stores like Home Depot or Lowes.

Tar or some other similar substance
or cut a square around it and fill it in with concrete.
