If you understand that communism is a closed political system, and that eventually closed political systems collapse, because they cease being sustaining for the population, you will cease being so paranoid.
The reason this country is so wealthy is because of the amazing cultural diversity shared by our population. China is really no longer a communist country. It is really becoming very democratic. The Chinese are actively participating in the world markets. The "state" no longer owns all the produce. Individual members of the Chinese culture now own the factories, and most other avenues of commerce. It is still not a totally democratic nation, but in 10 years it will be.
