You can recognize a terrorist when they try and profit off of your fear. They tend to wear suit and tie.

Uh, yes, I have seen some and members of my family and myself Have been threatened by some. In some cases they are not much different from the guys you will find in the state prison system, serial killers and the like.
I heard a few of the attacks by the serial killers that were on the loose in the Phoenix area last year and saw the serial rapist. I was woken up one night hearing a woman shot and killed by a serial killer one night. I work in a really bad part of town, so I have seen killers, rapists, Mexican gang members and drug dealers, you can spot them by certain clowns they have tattoed on their arms. I have met Mafia members and been introduced to people in the Russian mob too.
My sister works for an international ngo agency, and she has had Chinese hench men come after her when she reported their illegal activities. I have also seen the traditional middle eastern terrorist types in Phoenix. They are more discreet than our normal everyday home bred killers.
If you live or work in a horrible area and you pay attention they are there. And no, I am not paranoid, I work in a locked facility working with criminal and insane kids, so yeah, I have seen a lot.
If you pay attention to what is going on around you, you might get some eye openers too.

Well we know what most of them look like. Thats what profiling is all about. if most of the people who have committed terrorism have a certain look then its likely so will the next one. You of course cant tell them by what htey look like for sure though. It only gives you a place to start looking.
Thats why there have been measures to help do that.
I mean you cant tell an idiot from looking at them usually either. But all you need to wait for is them to start typing rants..
