I don't know what you are talking about with "robots". Techno is great music. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. There are plenty of people out there who love it and who hate it, just like any kind of music.

Putting someones preference of music down is just rude though, and really ignorant.

I'm sorry to tell you but yes, and bye the way Techno is good music. Or would you rather listen to that rap crap that degrades women and teaches children to swear and start gangs for money and drugs. Because as far as i know, no good has ever come rap music. And on a proved scientific study, those who listen to classical and trance ( a toned down version of techno) have higher iq's than the rest of the educated populous. Think about that, and trying something new, rather than shutting it out completely while listening to your emo or other vulgar modern music.

I appreciate that everyones got different opinions, but you cant generalise a whole genre of music so sweepingly. There are loads of different variations of techno music, and I find that hard techno (like deathchat gabber) is one of the most progressive kinds of music around. Its not all boring and repetitive and cheesy- it can be euphoric and mind blowing. Like most types of music, the majority of it is going to be rubbish, I HATE alot of techno tunes. Personally I agree with Mike B, the first guy who answered, which is that at least this music isnt advocating that money is everything and women are just to be used as sex objects. The people who make techno make hardly any money out of it and they do it because they love it.

I think as time goes on, there'll be more techno and electronic music... but hopefully rock music will always live.
