I wouldn't say it's socially unacceptable. I mean, there are nudist beaches in some places, right? However, in most places, like public restaurants, on the streets, and many, many other places -- there are FAR too many to list -- it is "socially unacceptable" because 1) it's against the law, 2) there are children around, and parents might not want their children seeing strangers' private, and 3) it may be seen as wrong. You might be thinking...aren't there children at nudist beaches? Well, nudist beaches are places where people can lounge and swim naked. They are specifically designated areas for people who wish to undress and stay naked at their time at the beach. Parents of children who do not want their children around naked people do not have to allow their children to stay there. Do you get what I'm saying...? Hopefully you do...I know it is a tad bit confusing.

What do you mean? You just came out of the closet. And sociolly unacceptable is "gay behaiors"? Just be who you are! If people have a problem with it then they can just not talk to you! There is nothing wrong with being gay, or acting gay.

It is not a disease, hence no cures exist. In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the official manual that lists mental and emotional disorders. In 1975, the American Psychological Association passed a resolution supporting the removal.

If it were that easy to just "go gay", then we could all just "go straight" and be done with it. There is no cure for how we are born, so if you really are gay, then accept it, and live your life.
God doesn't hate us, for He created us, so there is no problem there.
The only problem is the closed-minded religious fanatics that will not accept us!!!

Honey you have got to be kidding. You have (what I'm assuming to be 'finally') accepted who and what you are. Do you have any idea how ahead of the game you are? Some people spend their whole lives not knowing/accepting.

It is not a disease, it is who you are. Live your life. Now Now Now.

ps. If you're hanging around people who find it socially unacceptable, stop hanging around these people. There are alot of people out there who would like you for YOU. Not how they want you to be.

It's only socially unacceptable to ignorant jackasses. It is not a diease, and there is no "cure", besides the denial of who you are.

Being gay is not something that anyone needs to be cured of.

first of all, there is nothing unacceptable about being gay, and its not a disease either. Its viewed as a taboo by society, but society's views are never life-supporting, its ok that your gay and you shouldnt see it as a disease or unnaceptable. Gay men are so in touch with their feminine side, every man has a feminine side, but gay men are extremely in touch with it. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

I'm not going to pretend that I know of any cure
for your "behavior disease." But, I will suggest
that, now that you've come out of the closet, it
might be a bit easier for you to change into an-
other sort of suit; if you catch my drift.
If you really set your mind to, it, there is really
nothing you need to think you can/cannot do.

Good luck.
