I'm a 26-year-old woman. I have the dream of going abroad for my master's degree. I know that would make me happy, succesful and it's perfect for my career. The issues are stop working for 2 years and finding how to pay for it. On the other hand, I could stay where I live, pursue my master's locally, keep on working, save money, buy some stuff I want (I want to buy a SUV!!! it's also my dream) and more importantly, continue my 7-month relationship with my boyfriend. Although there are things we disagree, I think he's a really sweet and kind human being who truly loves me, and I know we could adapt to each other if we decide to get married, and be happy together. I'm afraid to lose this in a long-distance relationship if I leave. I don't want to look for anyone else, I feel this could be the one. I already have the experience of being an exchange student and an intern abroad, I just love living out of the country for a while, but i don't want to lose everything now I have.

Wow. That is a life changing decision.
No matter who you ask, family, friends, a bunch of strangers on the Internet, you will be getting a TON of different opinions. So, it won't really help asking too many people. It will just give you a headache.
Do some soul searching and try to realize what is the most important thing you want to do for yourself right now.
You have a lot of great going yourself, it seems, right now.
Hopefully, you make a good choice.

Well IF he loves you as much as you love him and you both feel secure in the relationship and trust each other without a doubt then he should understand and be willing to let you do what you feel you need to do then hopefully he will be supportive and maybe even help you out financially, dont be afraid to discuss it with him and see how he feels

Your local university might have a study abroad thing for a semester and tuition should still be the same but you might just have to pay for room and board and other fees. Check it out with your university.

If its really what you want go for it...

Follow your dream. If your boyfriend loves you, he will support you. If you don't do it now, you will regret it and you will always be wondering; what if? 2 years go VERY fast.
