I agree. What a waste of money when there are people starving in the world and there are women buying $1,000 bags to throw their crap in! How about donating some of that money to feed a man or a book for a child. One day our country is going to be completely poor and illiterate because of materialisim. What a waste...

I just got back from NYC. It is so way cool and tremendously sexy that every other person is carrying the same purse (LV). I even saw guys carrying them. How original. Sheep, in droves. But know that there are 10 knock off - rip off manufacturers that sell these on the streets for under 20 dollars for every one that is big bucks for real up close and personal.
The other fun observation: women in stiletto heels. Bleeding blisters and all. Vanity is rampant on the streets.
And in over a week, I did not see more than 3 people with brightly colored hair. Um, one green, one pink, one blue and that was viewing thousands of tressed people. Walking down 5th Avenue, not a single girl was without heels and guys actually had no jeans on, just nice slacks. Fashion abounds.

It's about status. You see a girl walking down the street strutting her LV, you know she has the money to afford one. Why else do you think people are trying to counterfeit so many of these purses? Because everyone wants to give off the facade of wealth and status.
Personally, I think the brown monogrammed LV purses are for older women, but if you look at the white/multicolored purses, they are actually quite cute :)

If the stitches were ruined it was a fake the reason other then to seem cool or whatever is the purses are very well made and will last you a long time. And their more like 7,000 for a new in season Louis.

My wife and I have deal with this amazing discount shop and purchased one there. Not really remarkable regarding the delivery speed however does save you approximately 82% and joyful to find this. The quality is decent and also till now not find any issues.

I totally agree - I wouldn't buy LV even if I did have the dough, because I'm just not gonna pay out the yin-yang to advertise for any label.

I totally agree. But Louis isn't a FAD, his stuff has been around -- and VASTLY overpriced -- for decades.
I think a lot of the top 'designer' things are ugly. I dislike Gucci too!
Personally, I don't wear or carry ANYTHING with a logo or label on it. If they want me to advertise their stuff, they can PAY me to do it!

well..we are the middle class as they say..labels and designs are not worthy as they do not affect us..
if we are living like millionaires..that kind of bag will be the perfect tools to get rid of the extra cash..when gossip comes up..throw in some money for the charity..thats world i shld say..
