The races differ on what constitutes racism. Of course that, in itself, can be considered a racist statement.

An attitude that is biased towards skin color is racist.

For instance hiring a white over an African American in spite him/her having higher qualifications is racist.

alternatively:

an attitude that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race is a racist attitude..

By definition racism refers to the belief that people of different races have inherent differences that are a function of their race. Typical use adds a negative slant to these beliefs and typically the notion of a race based heirarchy. So, the common understanding of a racist attitdue, I believe, is one that entails a heirarchical belief structure regarding racial differences, i.e. one race is better than another in some specific way or in general.

We're trying way too hard too soon to make this current society a utopic one--and it's simply NOT working!!

Racist attitudes/opinions incorporate some FACT to distorted or meritless claims. And guess what??? Whites aren't the only ones racist.

To some degree, EVERYONE is racist; just many choose to deny it.

Thinking that life is a race - that whoever gets to the end first, wins. Life is not about a destination, it's a journey.
It's all about the way you run, not who takes a shortcut.

Anyone that puts another individual down or treats another individual in a bad manner because of his or her race. I also would point out that just because you don't do that and you stand back and watch someone else do it doesn't make it right either.
