Ok this past week I've cussed at 2 cops while driving and I make sure they see me when I do it. One cop cut me off when I had the green the just shot through the light and we almost collided so while we were stopped for the brief second I flipped him off and and yelled (both our windows were down) "what the **** is wrong with you A**hole". Another Cop almost T-boned me and I yelled at him again. Am I wrong?

Unfortunately cops always have the right of way because they are the ones who enforce the law, and of course it would always be in their favor. If they didn't ticket you for it, I say good for you for sticking up for yourself. Would have sucked though if they had ticketed you. Probably wouldn't be worth it then. It sure would be nice tho if cops actually complied with the laws they enforce. You know, be the example and all that. But at least you didn't do what my bro did - flick a lit cigarette through the open window of a cop car (with the cop sitting inside). He got a "littering" ticket, of all things!

Wrong, no but if they are abusing their authority enough to drive that unsafely I wouldn't doubt they would be willing to give you a trumped up ticket for cussing them out unless of course they were involved in a chase or an emergency call which would make you in the wrong.

yep, wrong and illegal, but thoroughly justified. i absolutely hate the COP mentality where they feel they are entitled to do whatever they feel like, like driving like maniacs (sometimes under the influence.....i've seen it!) and behaving like morons in public. be thankful that you're safe. a cop is not always your best friend.

Dang! I'd have to say you're brave!! :-)

I admit, I really need to bite my tongue when I'm behind the wheel. I think if what happened to you happened to me, I'd be too afraid to yell something. I'd probably get accused of road rage or something.

Not wrong, but illegal. Of course I think they actually have to hear the word to arrest you for it.
