Enjoy the "show"......but I'll stay in a place where I'm not prone to get struck!

I dont have a porch but if I did I would enjoy the show. When I lived with my mom there was a porch and we would always sit out there during thunderstorms if it was warm enough and watch the lightning and laugh at the dogs going to hide under the bed.

Whenever a thunderstorm rolls through which isn't that often I sit on the porch and enjoy the show.

I don't have a porch, but I do open all of the windows and enjoy the show. I love thunderstorms.

We like to sit on the porch and watch the rain. With the thunder rolling and the lightening crackling. It's better than a reality show. It's very romantic too.

I sit and enjoy the show, I've always loved nature's displays...I once sat outside on my porch in the middle of a hurricane and absolutely loved it!

IT doesn't make much difference were you are. It's not the thunder to be affraid of it's the lighting and the wind. Depending on how bad the storm is going to be is were you should be. A strong center enclosed room seems to be the safest if you look at past storm damage., or storm cellars or any cellar for that matter. Lighting can strke any time and even go right through your house, so I guess it's matter on chancethat we all make it through bad storms.

I don't have a porch that I can sit on, but I don't run & cover my head either. I just stay indoors as much as possible.

Go sit in the screened in deck off the bedroom in a comfy chair and enjoy the sights and sounds, sometimes go play in the rain from the storm... was hoping for one this evening but looks like no such luck

I like thunder storms. If I had a porch I would most likely sit and watch it for awhile before it puts me to sleep.
