.) Make it equal to zero; x^2-x+2x=0 (this is a quadratic formula)
.) This is the equation that I'm going to use....x= -b- (square root sign) -b^2-4ac (end of square root sign) / 2a
.) Plug in the x^2 for a, the -x as b, and the 2x for c
.) Now we get....-(-1)-(square root sign) -(-1)^2-4(x^2 X 2x) (end of square root sign) / 2 (x^2)
.) Now we simplify and get.... 1 (square root sign) 1- 4x^2 - 8x (end of square root sign) / 2x^2
.) I hope I didn't confuse you or anything.
.) If I did, you can i.m. me on yahoo messenger.
