I found a book that was published in the 1950s about how to take nude portraits. It had been dogeared on the page about Male Anatomy.

I found this metal tool, shaped like a candle with a loop at the top and at the bottom was what looked like a hook but it didn't "catch" when you put it on anything. I finally carried it to my grandfather who explained it was a tool used on horses. The loop would pull nails out of the shoe and the hook was used to clean the "frog" of the foot. Then the "candle" would be turned on its side, which was rough, and used to pare down the hoof.
I still have it. It's just a curiosity.

It was some of my Gramps "comic books",
they were hid in a magazine holder behind gramas home and garden mags, they had naked women and men in them..weird..they were sketched like the rest of the book. I was 8 or so and would look..wonder..hmmmm..Grampa lookin at other women??

my grandpa has a boob cup....you're supposed to drink out of the nipple...that kinda freaked me out, lol!
