I stopped growing @ age 12 when I reached puberty but I also had short parents. I have to tell you being short 5'0, I got all the tall boys in High School. It seems opposites attract & besides you still might be growing. Check & see how tall your female relatives are (mom, sister or aunt) & when they stopped growing. I use to say, good things come in small packages.
Don't judge yourself so harshly, I'm sure you're a lovely person, what matters most is on the inside. :)

I am sorry you feel so bad. I have a husband who is unhappy about his height. He always has been. I wish I could make him understand that it doesn't matter to me. I love him. He is such a good person, he is huge to me. I don't even think about it. I wish I could tell you you are going to get a spurt, but I would think it would be highly unlikely by now. Please don't feel disdain at that thought. You are unique and special. Don't carry this as long as my husband has. Be content with who you are. Who you are is inside, not outside! My mom used to tell me "I cried because I had no shoes till I met a man without feet." We live in a world that is so obsessed with physical appearance, we have grads who want plastic surgery!! There are so many more important things to worry about! I used to wish I had bigger breasts, then I hit 35ish and gained weight (mostly in my breasts) and I totally wish I didn't have it now!! But, it is all me. Take it or leave it!! You are worth it!! Be proud of who you are!!

Aww. That's nothing to get depressed over, seriously. I'm 15 and i'm only 5 foot exactly. Alot of the boys i talk to always say they like shorter girls rather than taller girls, and that i should consider myself lucky. Me and my friends also asked all the boys in our geography class one day if they liked girls short or tall.. only 3 out of 16 boys said they like taller girls...

There is nothing wrong with being 5'1. You will be short the rest of your life, hold your head high and be proud of it. Be happy you are healthy and blessed with people who love you the way you are.

I'm not going to tell you my age ,but trust me I'm much older ,and I'm only 5 ft ,and i love it ,at my age i still shop at junior section at Dillard's or sears, and i don't think I'm missing or missed anything in life ,i hate high heel's ,i wear tennis shoe's ,or sandal's and flip flops .
this generation needs to quit being so depressed ,and be medicated.
be thankful what God give you ,and work whit what you got .
