I must say I don't believe in spirits either, yet I am currently evaluating and testing and proposing theories to that idea.

I am agnostic, yet become very nervous thinking about where electrons disappear to.

true. I must state a definition for a spirit. I guess it would just be another....... us. in a higher dimension. more than our 4Ds

I'm really wondering on how our thoughts ( electric impulses) co exist in other dimensions due to electrons fading in and out of our dimension

but this "us" might and more likely WILL have access into more deminsions than 5. It could be the main core

if you get just the right buzz, you can come up with string theories that will knock yer socks off, but you have to also play 9-ball and have your favorite music playing. A spirit from the past that was once a great pool player may enter your body for a moment and you will make an impossible shot.

Yes but I don't think it can be located in a test tube. There is plenty of spiritual artwork that can be said to be specific enough to locate the spirit. It does not take absolute proof to find your spirit, a little hunch can send someone on a life long search for it, as well as a life long belief that it is there.

The word spirit in the scriptures is used to convey, the driving motivation of God, the substance his body consists of, the substance the angels are made from.

In regard to humans, we have the spirit of jealousy, again some motivative mental force. We also have the word employed to mean man's life force.

However, the Bible does say that man's spirit returns to God when we die, this is explained in the link below, but it needs some background to be understood.

Thus if you read that page, to fully understand that the conclusions are valid you may have to read about what the soul is, and what the condition of the dead are:

There is really nothing mysterious or difficult about it all.

I doubt that science has evolved to the point that it can prove or disprove the spirit. But this is not anything unexpected. Science has failed to understand energy completely. It fails to explain gravity in any fashion that could be considered complete. In fact what science can prove is exceedingly little. Tell me...what lies on the other side of a black hole, and can we really KNOW?

It depends what you mean by spirit. If you mean a supernatural / occult element of the human then no need to explain it. It does not exist. If you mean the energy, the personality of a human then read psychology, its all there.

No...No way...not with existing scientific knowledge or methodology. Personally, I do not believe in spirits.

There is no spirit to define.
When the brain is injured, the mind is affected, no mystery, no mystical cause, pure physical.

It depends on your definition of spirit.
