Wow. Alcoholism is a physical manifestation of a spiritual problem. Find a good spiritual mentor. Someone who can help introduce, or reintroduce, the inner person back to Christ. Only in Christ have I found solutions to the compound problem that is alcoholism/drug abuse. The solution that is found in Christ will address the physical, mental and emotional problems that generally are associated with these types of "diseases". Peace and may the Hand of God be upon you- and may you find deliverance for whomever you seek it for, as well as peace, fulfillment and joy for yourself.

I am an recovering alcoholic myself. sober for 5 years now. first the alcohlic must be willing to accept getting help.its tough for someone to admit they have a problem.I went to memorial prevention and recovery right behind reliant stadium on the same street as holiday inn.the were really helpful. its like staying in a hotel and the food is great. the staff really know what they are doing.

Call "Crisis Hotline," in Houston, they can give you information.
Call directory assistance for the number, or look in the telephone book.
