First what is so hard to understand about the two word SECURE WIRELESS? This says that the wireless portion of your local network is secure. It has nothing to do with the router connecting to your ISP.

Unless you are using a IP masker or IP cloner software then someone tracking your IP on the internet will beable to find out what part of the country your ISP is in, but thats it. Unless it is a federal agency and they supena the ISP records to see who was using that IP address at what time then no one will beable to tell who or were you are.

Traced yes. However only to the local router. Seen yes if the router isn't locked. The IP address of the Pc isn't visable when the router is locked and the router will typically generate a new wep key each time it is accessed this is the group of 4 IP addresses.

And if there is someone around who knows IP acritecture, then finding out what and where you access isin't difficult only the backtrace to the DCHP of your system can prove time consuming. But not impossible.

if its secured wit a wep or other access code they can trace it but it will take a long time to figure out the code that only you know. Unless they ask you they cant get internet over that connection

Of course he can - you still have an IP Address. Wireless just means you're not using cables, the rest of the internet part is the same...

You are still protected as much as your computer software allows - if you're worried check out privacy software

So far every wireless security system has been able to be cracked. Not just anyone can do it, it takes some sophisticated tools and know how. Is it your own system or are you on someone elses system?
