When Matt Millen played the game, he was known as one of the dirtiest players (if not THE dirtiest) in the league. As a General Manager, he has certainly made his share of mistakes. However, the biggest mistake has been by ownership, which should have 'boomed' him a long time ago. One can only look at the fall of Ford common stock (F) to see that ownership in the Ford Motor Company is about the only thing worse than the fortunes of the Detroit Lions. However, based on his lack of performance at the top spot, Millen has to go.....and I'm not even a Lions fan.

I think there's only one take on Matt Millen that has half an ounce of intelligence, and that is: if he wasn't employed by such a moron in Bill Ford, he'd have been out of work years ago. He may go down as the worst GM in NFL history, considering the number of years he's had his job.

He is terrible, and Detroit is a joke.
He should have been fired several years ago, but Detroit decided to give him an extension instead.
Just look at the teams recent draft busts...drafting charles rodgers and Mike Williams both in the first round at WR,

Great draft evaluator as a GM.
(Does this need a sarcasm tag?)
Seriously, the guy must be mildly retarded but has photos of Ford in a sexual position IN A CHEVY!

Great player terrible GM. You have to admire his cajones for picking a WR with the first round pick like 15 years in a row, though.

I think that he must have some incriminating photos of the Lions owner, that's the only way he could still have a job.
