if a college websit lists room and board fees for a "standard double" as 11,000 does that mean that i must pay all of that or is that a fee to be shared by both roomates in the dorm. Please only answer if you know for sure from experience or for certain what the answer is.

That's the fee for one person.

The fee can be more or less though. A nicer room would be more, for example a room with a private bathroom. A single would also be more. A triple would be less.

Is that fee in dollars? Because that would be a ridiculous amount to pay for a dorm room, unless it were in the Taj Mahal.

that is per person.

your question wasn't specific as to the time period though. If it is per person per year, then you'll likely be expected to pay the usual proportional amount [one half or one third] before the beginning of each semester or trimester.

from what I understand its just you that includes like communication, internet, cable, water and stuff your dorm
