For that matter, Tony Blairs? Gas prices? North Korea's status? Or.....?

Tony Blair would still be England's p.m., since there would be no issue over which to have destroyed his otherwise important legacy of having presided over changes.

North Korea's supposed grievances would now be settled long since, because the President elected in 2004 would have talked to North Korea and reassured them long since.

Gas prices would be a little lower, and the President could have led in asking for legislation of any number of sorts--3 years since--to get serious about asking for higher mpg cars, promising alternative energy sources, suggesting creative solutions and dealing with foreign governments.

The president would have been John Kerry. Since there would have been no incident on which to base treasonable imperial presidential power stealing, lying or blaming of the changes upon "terrorism", we would have been much better off.

Mr. Bush has been an unmitigated disaster.

Exterminate!!!
*ahem*

Seriously though.... hmm... (As I live in the US, 'we' refers to the US)
Seeing as 9/11 was a defining characteristic of Bush's first term, he probably would've lost to John Kerry. People associated the Republican party with defending the people, and still the race was a close one.

Tony Blair would probably not be as closely associated with the name 'lap dog of the US' as he is now.

Gas prices would have steadily risen, though would not be at the levels they are at.

Now, North Korea is a far different animal. Depending on the type of government we had when the NKorean incident began, it's a definate possibility that war could've started there. After the nuke test, discussions break down, and US carrier battlegroups (the ones in the Persian Gulf at the moment) move in. Then NKorea does something dumb, hits SKorea, war once again. Maybe even a nuke. Or maybe the same pushes that are happening now occur, and we're all stuck peacefully around the table.
Iran would've been interesting as well, maybe the same idea with moving carrier battle groups there. However, Iran, in my opinion, would have been less apt to do battle, having the entire US force available.

Even so, this is still idle speculation, and there is no way to know. For all we could know, if 9/11 didn't happen, the world could've united and everyone's holding hands and singing songs.

They would have went the way of the majority of the other business ventures he has his fingers in - down the tubes. If he had not had the 9/11 attacks to give him the keys to the taxpayers treasure chest, he would have just stayed on vacation in Crawford.

How would it have been if Bill Clinton was President or some other person? Either way gas prices are going to be high, etc. He isn't the cause of it.......in a way we are all part of it (minus the 9-11 attack which was beyond our control).

It is impossible to know really. It was 9-11 that led us into Iraq, and that is all anyone really talks about when they talk about President Bush. That includes the media and the average American. They don't talk much about anything else that goes on.

The plan was already in. 911 just hastened the attack and provided a diversion. It was an easier entry to Iraq to already be occupying Afghanistan.
Easier to move troops across land than starting from across the ocean.

What has happen is suppose to happen whether we agree on it or not ! I believe that God is in Control of everything on Earth regardless of Bush's free will to do what ever He's think is best for this country or any other politician for that matter!

It wasn't the 9/11 attack that screwed Bush. It was how he has handled everything since. 14 dead this weekend!

I think he would have been much better off trying to find terrorist than to invade a country that did nothing to us, had no terrorist, or had anything to do with 9/11!

It was Bushes lies and blunders that dug his hole!

If it weren't for the war and corporate welfare, our terrible economy would be far worse!

He probably would've been a one termer. Tony Blair would have had a splendid run. Gas prices would be lower (Could they be any higher?). North Korea would be about the same.
