I think I know what would happen if earth's axis was tilted 10 degrees more, but if someone could make sure this is true:
The The seasons would get more extreme in both hemispheres, summers would get hotter and winters get colder. Is this true, and is there more?
Thanks

ah, duh, the only current tilt is what produces seasons in the first place- however, it wouldn't mean winters would get colder, as seasonal terms are wide in term since summer in america is hot, but in Alstriala its freezing during summer time

as for other things that would happen- its uncertain

Earth's current tilt, distance from sun, and rate of rotation is the reason why it can sustain life the way it does. Everything is in a perfect mathematical harmony in order to make that happen. Variations to any of these factors dramatically effects the climate on Earth, and the ability to inhabit it, and support life.

If we keep the distance and rate of rotation the same, the result of this tilt would come in very harsh and unpredictable seasons like you've guessed. And the more you tilt the Earth in either direction the less inhabitable it becomes.

There is a lot of other factors at play though than just the three I mentioned, but they are the biggest influences on the climate.

It would shift the tropics to a greater extreme and have a similar but opposite effect at the poles. There would most likely be a colder extreme of winter for some places and it would come on faster. The same would be true of summer. Much of the temperate areas of the Earth would have hotter summers and colder winters unless the ocean temperature somehow managed to average it out.

You're absolutely right..! The other user who mentioned global warming is wrong because Earth's tilt isn't changing enough to account for the current cycle of global warming.
