Well we are always thinking even if it is on an unconscious level. The type of thought you are talking about will affect the answer. In simplest terms a logical thought will activate a different part of the brain than a creative thought. You did say the mind rather than the brain which is interesting. Perhaps you mean them to be the same but the term mind seems more vague. I think, ha ha, that it is more a desire to understand rather than a desire to think.

The sub-conscious mind. Here Ones whole life that is actually experienced and created is stored with billions of thought pictures.. Deep with-in the sun-conscious, a picture is sent to the conscious mind. We then start a process of thinking. Ex; we visualize a flower. We then think, :"where did I see that flower, we can even smell it, feel it all through the process of thinking about it. Ex; If we try to solve a problem, we settle back send a message to our sub-conscious, and start thinking about how to solve the problem. One should now have a general idea of the desire to think!!!

i'm not quite sure what part of the mind desires thought. i guess all of it. but yes i do desire to think. in fact the sole purpose of this profile was created for that. i'm always challenging my mind into deeper thoughts for answering & (more importantly for me) to ask questions.
