Do you follow the golden rule? Do you even know what the golden rule is?

I do. I learned at a much older age than most because I was stubborn and foolish. Now, I do try my very hardest to treat others exactly as I wish to be treated. I try very hard now to be a good person who, with honesty and integrity, someone is happy to call a friend. I struggle daily and sometimes fail but I'll never stop trying.

Yeah technically I follow the golden rule, but I'm a bit of an odd person: What I would have others do unto me is not all that conventional.

The person who applies the Golden Rule makes the assumption that what the other person wants/needs is the same as what we all want or need, and that is not always true. We all do not want/need the same things.

But, the general idea is a good one.
