Just today when I went to take a shower I noticed I had a few visible veins on my breast. I've been having light cramping on and off for about 2 weeks. Around May 15, I had taken an hpt and was positive but the doctors urine/blood test were neg. I'm due for my period around the 15th but this is different, I'm getting a test for 4 days before my period but should I care for myself as I'm pregnant or what?

yes you should care for yourself as if you are pregnant. sometimes the tests are a bit off until there are higher levels of hormones in your blood.

If your period is not due for another week and a half, it's WAY too early for pregnancy symptoms. Most women ovulate around 14 days before the start of their next period, and then it takes 6-10 days after ovulation/conception for the embryo to implant in the lining of the uterus. Only AFTER it implants will it start to produce HCG (the hormone that causes pregnancy symptoms). If you are still 10 days away from your period, you may have only ovulated 3-4 days ago, so it's WAY too soon. Wait for your period, and take a test if it doesn't arrive when expected. Good luck!

It was a sure sign for me my first two pregnancies. In fact, I had unprotected sex a few weeks ago and need to take another test because during my shower yesterday I noticed my veins were really popping.

I have always been able to see on of the veins in one of my breasts... Never have been pregnant. If you think you could possibly be pregnant, or you plan on becoming pregnant, you should care for yourself as if you are pregnant, that is just the general rule. That being said, if you lead a normally healthy life you shouldn't have to worry.

Yes you could be pregnant. Dark veins on my breasts was one of my first signs of being pregnant. Maybe take extra caution until you do take your test just to be on the safe side. Good luck!!

You might be pregnant b/c darkened veins is an early pregnancy sign, and it's best to play it safe, esp. if you got a postive hpt.

yes, the breasts are gearing up for more volume and increased blood flow to accomodate the larger volume of milk that they will now hold...make sure that you get a really good support bra to help alleviate the new-found back pain that you may get from the extra sizes
good luck
