I personally can't stand him (not hate) because:
1-He's a former personal injury lawyer who made millions from sueing doctors and hospitals using unprovable junk science. Now guess who has to pay more for medical care?? Yep, patients at the hospital.
2-He has no problem spending $400 on a haircut using donated campaign money (hey, why should he pay for it when his supporters can?)
3-He shamelessly invoked Mary Cheney's lesbianism during the debate with her father, Dick Cheney. Even Mary Cheney said it was in poor taste.
4-He made millions of dollars working for a hedge fund and claimed he did it so he could "learn about poverty." WTF????
5-Unlike some people running in '08, John Edwards has no vision or direction that he thinks our country should go in. He leads according to polls, and that's no way to lead. He just "wants" to be president...God help us if he's ever elected.
The only good thing about John Edwards is that he seems to have chosen a pretty awesome wife.

No it is because he does not interact with the people he is concerned with the Poor. For example he has never set foot in the trailer park across the street from his 32 million dollar house never mind he runs a hedge fund and has a stake in a contested shipwreck worth 500 million, He is rather greedy for a socialist

No one hates anyone, hon. John Edwards is probably a very nice man... whom I would not want for my president. That's all.

He is man of great immoral. He has no respect for life, he eats meat and is pro kill with abortiones. He should be stopped by a compeitor indeed. We need a Strong man to lead, not some prettyboy.

I don't know about republicans, but I'm a democrat and I don't like him either. I do like his wife. I'd vote for her.

We don't hate him. He would give us an easy victory. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that he doesn't really care about the poor. He is a phony and is easy to spot.

how come libs love someone so much when they are "champions for the poor"but get 400 dollar haircuts and live in multimillion dollar homes.....
to me he seems fake and hypocritical..........
