The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative. There is no 'of the future'' because the future is what it is.
Some interesting reading: http://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/feuerbach/works/future/index.htm
Ludwig Feuerbach
Principles of Philosophy of the Future
Part III: Principles of the New Philosophy
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
§ 31
The recognition of the light of reality within the darkness of abstraction is a contradiction – both the affirmation and the negation of the real at one and the same time. The new philosophy, which thinks the concrete not in an abstract but a concrete way, which acknowledges the real in its reality – that is, in a way corresponding to the being of the real as true, which elevates it into the principle and object of philosophy – is consequently the truth of the Hegelian philosophy, indeed of modern philosophy as a whole.'
An 'intolerable future' is a failure to grow a strong will. There are bones of the starving women who even then were giving birth. They know this because their bones were depleted of calcium, something taken from the bones to feed the fetus. Mental illness has its own philosophy and beliefs. It ain't that simple, but ya, hopelessness is a bummer.

Ute Bublitz (1998)
Beyond Philosophy
Introduction
...
Nature engenders nature, and nature only, in its reproduction and in its life. The rose brings forth more roses, never anything ‘unnatural’ or ‘unrose-like’. The human being creates humanity, but with this difference: what is human can at the same time be either ‘human’ or ‘inhuman’. The results of human action range from creations which fill our hearts and souls with lasting strength and delight, to crimes whose shame no atonement can wipe off the face of the earth.

Hi, how are you guru? My philosophy is life is to forgive and forget if you want to discover your soul. I will give you an example, I found out that my husband has an affair two days back. You wont believe I was so angry and hurt that I wanted to confront him and fight with him but then I thought fight is not a solution to anything because on the other side I pray all the time for a world peace and I want to fight with my husband. That is not a solution to a problem at all. I gave him the hint that I have found out about all this and I would rather work on our relationship than to fight because I have two boys and I love them so much . They are only 9 and 10 yrs old.My point here is this that when you forgive, you feel so good and near to GOD.

The future is born out of the seeds of today, so put your energy and effort into now and worry about the future when it comes. To use a metaphor, a farmer doesn't get his harvester out to plant seeds, nor does he plan on the harvest being a specific yield. Those things are done later when appropriate and planting the seeds in the best possible way is the only concern for the farmer now.

The future is not a tangible thing. It cannot be calculated, merely imagined. The "future" cannot be determined when things, life, is so unimaginably complex.
Everything is contextual, and our mind determines who we are. If we fear, we feel helpless. Higher thinking makes us wonder, worry, wish. We perceive the world, and imagine the what-ifs and maybes. But, there is a world that exists regardless of your presence. That tree that fell that no one heard made a sound because the world exists regardless of you.
SO: the future is an imagined place that we all have created in our minds. We can assume things will happen according to laws, statistics, etc. But, statistics change; everything is contextual. You can say, "I will eventually die." Yes, but when? We can only estimate, assume, guess.
The future is equal parts determined by laws and what we make of it.

well....i try to stay in the now. because we can die at any second, so what's the use of planning 30 years ahead? chances are we won't even be around then. but not so in the now that i'm reckless, i try to keep it a balance. the future will come and we'll just have to accpet it, let it make us stronger, and move on. gotta keep moving on. =]

That's nice. I see life as a series of trials/events. You can do well on them, or you could do poorly. If you focus, you can usually come out on top.
Still, the future should not bother you
