The support and any other financial arrangements have to be negotiated between your lawyers and the courts. If you have a good divorce lawyer, you will receive all the benefits you are legally entitled to.

if you're getting a divorce and you live in a community property state, 1/2 is yours.
(because you've been married over 20 yrs)
If it's not community property, I have no idea what the laws are. I'm sure a lawyer can tell you.
