the astronauts has shadows, but they landed on the unlighted side of the moon.

The flag does not flutter at all. It sticks out because it has a rod across the top edge, which was out there precisely because it WON'T wave iin the vacuum. It appears wrinkled in pictures because it has been squashed into a small space for weeks before being put up, just like your clothes get creased if you don't hang them up. The only time the flag moves is when the astronauts are moving it, or when, on some earlier flights, it was blasted by the exhaust as the LM lifted off.

The astronauts certainly did NOT land on the unlighted side of the Moon. To do so would make no sense, since they would need to see what they were doing while they were there. They landed at a time when the sun had just risen over the landing site so that the terrain cast long shadows so they could see the surface features clearly during descent and landing.

The van Allen radiation belt is not that deadly. Shuttle and ISS astronauts routinely pass through a section of it several times a day. The Apollo command module, the part of the craft they were in during the crossings of the belts, was also considerably thicker than the foil you mentioned. Dr James van Allen himself has said that the belts provide no barrier to manned space flight.

Yes, in fact 12 men set foot on the Moon. The flag had a wire in it to keep it straight, and that vibrated. All the Apollo missions landed in daylight, so of course the guys had shadows! The Van Allen Belt isn't anywhere near the Moon. Read the reference below for detailed responses to all the other crazy conspiracy theory stuff. The truth is right there!

There is no doubt that men have stepped on the surface of the moon, the flag was deliberately stiffened to make it look like it was flowing away from it's post and the astronauts landed on the sun lit side of the moon.

Yes we landed on the moon. Question the conspiracy reasons and they fall apart rather quickly. Then ask yourself why the USSR didn't say anything if the landings were faked? It would have been a huge, huge victory for the USSR to prove such a thing, but they couldn't, because it happened.

The flag was starched to give the illusion of flying. That's well established.

The VA-belts don't come anywhere near the moon.

And the Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment totally blasts all conspiracies.

I'm sure they did. the flag probably looks like its fluttering. zero gravity. they probably had some sort of lighting. they wouldn't send them all the way up there and not be able to see. i don't know what to say about your foil part tho. but what i don't get is why is it taking them so long to go back?

You seem to think not. I assure you they have. Or do you think Apollo 1 was staged as well? You and many other conspiracy theorist are grasping at air when it does not really matter. Rational thought leads one to do better things with their time.
