Schutz.
He was a German Boxer. I got him when I was five years old. He looked like a terrifying bulldog, but the truth was, he was a pussycat..... uhm....... er...... dog of gentle nature. He was huge as became full grown. 85 lbs. Everyone in the neighborhood loved him. They knew him better than they knew our family. He would walk my sister and me to the bus and then make his rounds through the neighborhood visiting all the houses. On weekends we'd get phone calls from neighbors saying, "we just wanted you to know that Schutz is here. He's not disturbing the party........ its just that everyone is feeding him beer. We just thought you should know." So my dad would say......... well shoo him on home. We'd watch as he would just weave his way back and forth as he made his way home from a bender. lol What a dog. Gosh how I loved that mutt!!

Cindy was a miniature schnauzer. She was so much fun to play with and very loyal. She died of old age when I was an older teenager, but I still remember her. I loved that dog.
