Well with my first born (boy) I was sick (throwing up) for 6-7 months morning, noon and night. IT was so horrible I put it down to being under more stress than this pregnancy.
This pregnancy 71/2 weeks pregnant I have not thrown up at all, dry reach on some smells but VERY VERY tired until I started Blackmores vitamins now I feel fine!!
Good luck if you are expecting. Believe me the sick feeling is totally worth it once you hold that little bundle in your arms you will forget all about it!!

I do, but not every woman does. Many just get nauseated and some never even get that. I have really bad morning sickness and I always puke, right through the whole pregnancy and even after for a couple of weeks. That doesn't mean much, some women never even feel a twinge.

Not everyone gets morning sickness and not everyone pukes if they do get morning sickness some just feel sick or dizzy. And it's different with each pregnancy you just never know. With my first I was sick as could be for the first few months. But with our second I didn't get sick at all. With the pregnancy I miscarried I was sicker than with I had ever been with any pregnancy, I couldn't tollerate crackers for awhile. With the third I was dizzy and my stomach felt like I was going to throw up but I never did. And with our fourth I wasn't sick in the begining but got sick in the second trimester especially if exposed to certain smells, couldn't stand perfume smells, etc. You just never know. I've had friends so sick they ended up needing IV treatment for fluids and others who skated through their pregnancy without any problems.

Some women get so nauseated that they puke, yes. Some don't though. Some women don't even get nauseated or anything. When I was pregnant with my son, I only got nauseated and never puked it only lasted a week. I am 23 weeks with a girl now and I was sick from about 3 weeks until I was about 20 weeks. I wouldn't even get nauseated sometimes and I would puke.

I only puked twice in my whole pregnancy...the rest of the time I just felt like I was going to puke...then when I went into labour I had to be given liquid gravol (the best gravol in the world in my opinion...it worked right away) because I couldn't keep anything down

Have you been to your doctor? You can try having a full glass of water containing 1/4 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) when you get up. That should help. Your stomach may just be sitting there with excessive acid in it from the night before.

I never actually threw up...I just felt sick all the time. Most days I felt like I was stuck on a boat in the ocean.

I felt queasy in the mornings during my first trimester, but I never actually threw up.
** OK, what sort of total twit is giving thumbs down to the women saying they never threw up? Do you think we're lying? Do you think it's a giant conspiracy against you?
