That really upsets me that anyone just wears the t-shirts for fun and they want to pretend they're cool. I think you have to earn the right to wear those shirts and be a true fan. My sister told me about someone in highschool who was wearing a shirt with the Rolling Stones tounge logo. And she made a comment on it and the girl said something like "It means the Rolling Stones? I just bought it cause i liked it." I almost fell over when i heard that. And i do believe there are some people that don't know a thing about real rock. I think like on School of Rock it should be taught in school. Or future generations won't know the legends that started it all. Without them there would be nothing. I'm only 21 but i know this. I've tried to learn and absorb as much classic rock as i can. I idolize Page and Plant. Robert Plant's solo work is amazing too. His voice must be a gift from the gods. And what can i say other than AC/DC rocks! Period!

The probably these days is that t-shirts and button up shirts of (what I consider some of the all time greats of rock and roll and the precurser of metal)AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. I know that these type of shirts can be purchased at Hot Topic (which to me is poser central) and whatever other mega store chain feels like they can make a fast buck from them.
I look at wearing a music groups shirts, at least listen to their music more than once (or a snippet and think oohh thats cool), learn some of the bands history and members as well.
Like me I am a fan of nine inch nails, the main person of this "band" is Trent Reznor, he has a backing band when he goes on tour and the guys in his band are always changing.

they are actually not even interior the comparable classification. Led Zeppelin/Jimmy website replaced into so imaginitive no longer basically musically, yet in recording technique. Jimmy website invented double monitoring for God's sake! he's a real genious. basically placed on actual Grafitti for a stable pay attention, or placed it up against any 2 discs at the same time by utilising AC/DC. AC/DC rocks, yet it truly is the top of their tale. Their final large disc replaced into returned in Black, and that replaced into written with, yet regrettably no longer performed by utilising Bon Scott. AC/DC is amazingly one dimensional, Zep may be grew to become interior out.

Because AC/DC and Zeppelin shirts can be purchased anywhere in big chain clothing stores. Target, Wal-mart, and Kohl's for a few bucks. Classic rock and metal are becoming a pop culture staple now, and people want to be "in"
Look at advertising, video games, and soundtracks. 10 years ago they would have all had hip-hop, and alternative rock on them. now rock and metal are used a lot.

they sell cheap rock shirts at wal-mart now, so everybody is wearing rock chic...I KNOW what you mean...I even asked someone this month wearing an ac/dc shirt...Bon Scott or Brian Johnson? and they had no freaking clue what I was talking about
well over a decade ago, I asked this guy wearing a Megadeth shirt on, if he'd heard the new album, and he just laughed!!! (out of ignorance) please!!!
