With my first pregnancy, I didn't know until I was almost 4 months along. I still had my period for the first 3 months! It just isn't always as apparent, especially for a first time mom. Congratulations on the baby!

some people don't find that they are pregnant until a few months along ,i was 8 weeks when i found out .it doesn't mean any thing is abnormal or something is wrong, its just how things work sometimes. also you could have had more things preoccupying your mind than pregnancy

I don't know. if you conceived your child on may 5th, then your period would have been due around May 19th (14 days after ovulation/cocneption). Why didn't you suspect it then when you missed your peird?
