Well I am young and I'm still spoiled and sheltered. Its not always bad that people are spoiled and sheltered. I have family members the same age as I am and they weren't most of them are pregnant or have already had babies because they didn't protect them from those things. The others depend on men/women to love them because they didn't have love at home. I'm not a brat that brags on the things I have thats just mean I'd never do it. I have everything I want and need and I am forever thankful. I don't think its bad to be spoiled and sheltered like me! I'm turning out fine!

Spoiled, definitely not; we were a one-income family until I was in my teens, and that income was my father's teaching salary - not exactly big bucks.
Sheltered - possibly so. I grew up in Texas in the 50s and 60s, and women's roles were pretty structured.

Spoiled probably not! Sheltered very much so..............actually too much, when I grew up and got up and out into the real world, I had no clue how to operate on my own!!

Sheltered, yes. Mom didn't want me to go anywhere or do anything because I might get hurt.
Not spoiled.

Life found me early...

Initially, yes. Then my family suddenly turned for the worse, lost our home to foreclosure, learned humility and never looked back.

I was neither, and I am sure glad that didn't happen. I learned with adversity and have also grown with empathy towards others pain, by having to live through it myself.
