Conservative policies have destroyed America's manufacturing base and middle class. They have eroded our liberty to a point unheard of since before the American Revolution. They have done away with Habeus Corpus and made torture a policy.

And what is the ONLY plan that Republicans are still peddling?
"Stay the course"

Because their real bosses are big business, and they're making like bandits (like?) under this administration.

Wow have you been indoctrinated. Let us take your points one at a time.
1) Destroyed America's mfg. base and middle class. If you are talking about NAFTA that was endorsed by just as many democrats as republicans. Signed by Bill Clinton. The middle class is doing better than it ever has. Look at the stats for home ownership. They are at an all time high.

2) Eroded our liberty...since American Revolution. Are you unaware of the emergency measures during the Civil War? Have you forgotten how FDR rounded up Japanese Americans and kept them in camps until the war was over?

3) Hapeus Corpus has not been done away with. If you are talking about enemy combatants they are not nor were they ever subject to Habeus Corpus. They are not even covered by The Geneva Convention. They are subject to Military Tribunals. This has always been the case no matter what anyone has told you.

The type of aggressive interrogation techniques used do not rise to the level of torture. The military personnel that were abusing prisoners in Iraq have been prosecuted and convicted.

Will you apologize to the republicans now?

After observing what has been going on in Congress, (pre-Democratic leadership), and reading what this administration seems to be doing with their strange tactics, e.g., be secretive, but "leak" information that stirs up the people, advocating a major, fast-track, highway through the United States from Mexico to Canada, (or, Canada to Mexico - whichever direction you are coming from), changing the laws because the President doesn't like them, et Al. It appears to me this president would be king! Or, have a shared leadership with Canada and Mexico!
I am not an economist, therefore, I cannot explain in a format which may be more expressive. I did, in fact, ask my Senators why is bUsH selling out America!?
Apparently our democracy is much more fragile than we all realized! Dang! It's kind of scary don't ya think?
Now, before it is too late, WE the PEOPLE, need to stand up, speak out, and take back OUR COUNTRY!!!

Can you handle the truth? Is it not democrats that are advocating a policy of defeat in Iraq? Let's all tell the enemy when we are leaving - or, better yet, let's just publicly tell them the United States has lost the war, and do this while our troops are on the front lines and in harms way. Is it not democrats who first proposed open borders?
There are plenty of idiotic policies to go around - from both parties - always remember:
"In a democracy, the people always get the government they deserve."

If anything is going to destroy America it will be the new Immigration plan. Bush and McCain have supported it but they aren't very conservative.

If anything Unions have done a good job of destroying the manufactuing base. Just go to Detroit and you will see that.

Interesting.. because I have the EXACT same rights and liberties now as I had all through the 1990s and 1980s and 1970s. Could it possibly be that you're just another mindless liberal sheep spouting nonsense?

And FYI it was BILL CLINTON who pushed through the horrible trade deal with China. I blame congress for passing it, but HE was the one pushing it.

you are sadly mistaken and even more sadly misinformed.

Answer me this...What Democrat policies, if any, have actually done some constructive good for the country in the past forty years??

You need to stop getting your info from Michael Moore and start reading actual statistics and facts.

And on demand abortion clinics, giving welfare to everyone, and saving trees is doing America good? We are trying to rid the evil of the world for a safer America. It's the anti-conservatives that are destroying it with their immoral policies and ways of life. We will stay the course since the Democrats did the usual, backed down.

LOL....unions destroyed America's manufacturing base and the middle class. They did it by mob enforcement of policies that were not economically viable over the long run. Look at the industries dominated by unions: manufacturing, steel, auto, airlines. All industries that employed the middle class in droves. And all industries in shambles in the US.

Unions--backed by democrats. Whoops...its the other way around. Unions: owning democrats through the PAC contributions.
