What is the probability in tubes coming untied???

I am 22 yr old. I just got my tubes tied 3 months ago. I've heard that your tubes can come untied by themselves after 7 years. Also, I have heard that your tubes can't come untied. The reason I ask is I regret getting my tubes tied and want to know if I will be able to have more children in the future. And if they don't come untied themselves, how much does it cost to get the procedure reversed!! Any kind of information will be so helpful to me. Thank you in advance!!!

Having your tubes tied does not mean that they tie the tube into a knot. They cuy the fallopian tubes and tie each end off with a small wire (four knots). Very rarely, the tubes are so close together that they fuse again around the knots but it is extremely rare. You have a good chance of having the procedure reversed as its only been three months but I believe it is costly and that most insurance companies won't cover it. Hope that helps a little.

Not particularly an reply. I've my tubes tied, have had them tied for practically 4 years. When I had my first son in 07, the healthcare professional would no longer let me have my tubes tied. You ought to be 23 OR have 2 children. It isn't an option. The one means it is an alternative before these two things are to happen, is whether it is existence threatening to the mummy or the child. at 22 years old why would you get your tubes tied? I am surprised your doctor tied them at your early age. Some womens tubes have become untied after 7 to 10 or more years. It depends on if they were tied or burned. I think you need to talk to a physican about your situation. I don't know of any reversals but if I were you I would talk to another doctor. I can't believe it!
