With all of their hatred towards Bush you would think that the Democrats would want to put more qualified and intelligent candidates than these against the Republicans.

The Dems have a knack of picking the weakest candidates they can find when they are running in elections that should be cakewalks. A four-year-old child could've beat Bush in 2004, so they decided to run Kerry. We held our noses and voted for him, and look what it got us.

Never underestimate the Dem ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I'll take Ron Paul any day.

I think that Hillary is the biggest gift to Republicans. For one thing, she is a woman ... No woman in Americas history has made it this far and to beat her in the elections would cement the idea that women can't lead that way (which I beleive is false but it is how a lot of the nation views women still). Not to mention her husband, any candidate that really wanted to sway the votes could use her husbands past against her in some really dirty politics. I personally don't think that Edwards will win, especially after the commercial he released on Memorial Day. Obama is probably the most likely to win right now- no one has real dirt on him thus far. But the only way to see what happens is the 2008 elections. Everyone vote! Only about one third of the nation is even registered to vote and about half of them actually vote. Get your say while you can.

The divisive nature of the two campaigns might reason irreparable harm to the occasion. the shortcoming of management by using Howard Dean had created this mess and allowing this sham to proceed purely demonstrates the shortcoming of the occasion to take responsible movements. Edwards lacks the credentials to be President and Al Gore is so tied up in himself that he might experience being President could be a step under him now. i think of the Clinton prolonged kin will in no way take something under the nomination. The Republicans will incredibly delight in bashing whichever candidate gets the nomination.

Is this all you have? Making your enemies seem like they hate Bush? Sorry, not everyone sees everything as black and white as you do.

All candidates, hopefully, are running in hopes of making America a better place to live. That is why candidates of both sides are coming up with plans to run on while you waste your time bashing the other side.

This has nothing to do with political party divide - you're just the idiot fanning the flame that's blocking progress.

Yep.
the only Dem candidate that could give the Republicans a run for their money is Gravel. And I doubt he will ever get the nomination. He is much too blunt and honest. Doesn't play the butt smooching game.

To the 29 percenters,

Most of the country think Bush is a joke. Edwards, Obama, and HIllary are doing a good job of representing the American people.

The Democrats have handed 2008 to the first conservative that shows up.

You couldn't be criticized for thinking any of the nominees were a gift. Judging by democrats that are actually elected, it seems that qualification and intelligence is not high on their list of qualifications.

Republicans are still attacking Bill Clinton and it's been 7 years since he left. Get used to it. People will do the same thing with Bush.

I agree any of them are a gift. Instead of pandering for the Peacenik vote, they should concentrate on the issues.
