Episode 85 was completely outstanding. Hitting the mattresses, going for an all out gangland war with New York, loyalty being shown, and soldiers falling in the line of duty.
This has been by far the most touching episode in my opinion.
I admire Tony for going up against New York, and I believe Phil was wrong when he called them a glorified crew. His facts were wrong, he said they don't slice the finger with blood. Wrong, they showed it with Christopher when he was being made. He said they make everyone and anyone, I find that false also Although Chrissy do move up faster than most, he put in a lot of heavy work and time as well before he was initiated.

So I think Phil is underestimating the Soprano family, which may backfire on him. Sopranos know the new York family is strong.

I was sad to see Sylvio go, and Bobby as well. I look forward to watching Pauli during this war, as well as the boss. It will be interesting.

This episode was really moving in every way. To see the family brace for war was something else...

This episode was in my mind perfect in every way.
I watched it 3 times so far, and have managed to dream of it all through my sleep. I will watch it again now before lunch.
Absolutely outstanding.

I know! My stomach is still hurting me. Full of suspense and art, certainly one of the best scripted episodes of the entire series.

I'm sorry but that episode was really, really lame! Why would you let Bobby and Sil get killed but,not those other two old geezers thats in his click who nobody care about. People are right the Sopranos are so 3 years ago, thank god its ending!
