ok i dont know if i should do band this year in highschool or art i mean i like to play music and travel i just dont like the amount of time it consumes and i dont like stayin after school and stuff like that but like i said i like to play music and i like to do art so if it was you what would you do

If you like it you should stay. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. When I was in high school I loved playing basketball but I hated going to practice. It took up a lot of time but it was worth it.

If music is your passion, then stay: everyone has to deal with some rough aspects when they want to do something.
If you think your passion might be something else, then feel free to go out and explore your options.

Do whatever you enjoy the most and what you get the most out of. Anything worthwhile requires work and time so make your decision based on which is the most fun and you enjoy doing the most.

School will get you a JOB.
The JOB will pay for your HOBBY.
Play your music at home, after you do your homework.
